i'm sitting in digital applications (graphic design course) and we're supposed to be working on fantasy portraits on photoshop.

not much to update you with, my apartment's been upgraded with a new couch, ceiling light, dining table and rock band/ guitar hero 3.

getting high and playing games is what i've been doing lately, aside from the school assignments.

my dA page is simply dead, i've really lost commitment to it, and the dA princesses don't let you delete accounts so, fuck it.

now what to say here..

it's been quite a while and you could say quite a few things have happened, for one, i aced art & design foundation and got accepted into graphic design for january, my life's on pause right now as i'm "vacationing" in kuwait (where i grew up) visiting family, cousins and close friend (whom i have yet to see)

i've been in this dreaded speck of sand on the globe for almost 2 months and i'm barely surviving, dying of sobriety -.-

oh, i recently bought myself an elite xbox 360, let's see how long it lasts before i'm doomed to face the red ring of death on my console, maybe microsoft made a special elite that will survive in my caring hands, i got my first game the other day, BioShock, fuckin' unreal experience, regardless of my crappy tv

i'm set to leave here on the 3rd of the 1st, '08 and man oh man i hope my heart beats till then so i can merely experience this dead end road of a life here in beautiful ol' kuwait

a few months ago i got into this series, pretty much the only series i seriously enjoyed: Dexter, pure brilliance, i'm not easily impressed when it comes to such things and i tend to lazily lose track of series but this one simply blew me away, being a kiss-ass for the show is a label i'd wear proudly.

reading this out loud to myself it's quite fascinating how i jump from topic to topic, "lolz"

if you notice, each one of my journal entries are in and around a month apart. odd isn't it?

well. the first half of my second semester is over, my week off is pretty much done too.

all sorts of greatness happening in the mind of the TuRk.

mentality skyrocketing, state of mind balanced like never before, inner happiness and true satisfaction in life, it's amazing.

my mind is at ease, as i feel i might have reached the true goal of life at 18.

my friend Manny's coming over in about an hour or 2 for some Wii & Trii.

other than that, i'm not much of an internet whore to be putting my life into this journal, although i do live in trth and freedom, so i'm open to absolutely anything about myself, which has got me all sorts of different reactions from people.

realizing truth about life, true colours of different people, it's something i never saw myself doing

not to mention the music. song writing is going great, talents and abilities in the various things i do are also improving.

as for art to upload to this crummy page, i'll leave the question of that for when i start the 2nd half of this second semester.

the last week of my first semester of college approaches. it's been hectic, a hell of a lot of pressure and work from each of my courses. art and design foundation is much harder than it sounds folks. and on top of that, i have an idiot of a teacher who is also teaching portfolio design during my next semester. argh.

as i speak, i'm making a sample book for my foundation design class. elements of design and all. i'm supposed to create a sample book, containing a bunch of researched images and hand drawn title pages for each element of design:

i chose to do another shot of my pet bird, but this time a head on photo, so her beak's pointing at the camera. i've finished my texture manipulation of Jaybird, working on my value. this assignment was given to us 14 weeks ago. during the first or second class. doesn't time fly.
